We are lucky enough to have a beautiful Conservatory within Highland Park. The temperature is always nice and warm so this is the perfect place to go when the weather is bad. I'm told the Conservatory contains an impressive variety of unusual plants. Cost is just a few dollars, which is a bargain when you consider you get access to seasonal displays, orchids, towering hibiscus plants with every color flower, a large succulent and cactus gardens, water features plus active turtles and small birds moving about.
