Legends & Lanterns®
Dates: Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays in October
230 S. Main St.
Saint Charles, MO 63301
Finding its inspiration from the past, this festival will offer the vintage charm of Halloween in the 1910s-1930s, to the historical rituals and customs brought to the holiday by the Druids and Victorians, to the ethereal atmosphere depicted in American ghost stories and Brothers Grimm fairy tales; this event will offer fun for guests of all ages. A little silly, a little macabre, but all in fun, Legends & Lanterns® will allow visitors to get in the "spirit" for All Hallow's Eve. The festival will feature scarecrows, hayrides through history, and ghostly guests with historic Main Street as its backdrop.
Christmas Traditions
November 26 to December 24
For nearly half a century, Saint Charles Christmas Traditions® has helped create cherished memories for the young and young at heart. With a unique blend of storytelling, history, and fairy tale whimsy, visitors are transported to a world of yuletide nostalgia where reindeer fly, Victorian carolers share a cheerful tune, and sugarplums dance in your head.
