The Regent is a couple of minutes round the corner. There are comfortable sofas, quirky decor and relaxed ambiance in a gay bar serving guest ales and also tasty pub food. Everyone is welcome, including dogs!

Holyrood Park is literally on the doorstep and is a wonderful place to walk, jog or enjoy the fresh air and views. It has a 5 mile radius and has been a royal park since the 12th century. It is full of hills, lochs, glens and cliffs providing a haven of wild landscape right in the city. In the middle is Arthur's Seat - Edinburgh's famous hill which you can climb up to experience spectacular views of the city.
