Interesting food and an amazing decor. Hands down the best chai I have ever had. I can't speak to their hours as they do not seem consistent to me, so be sure to check before you go.

They have a great and long (I think it goes to 8) happy hour in the bar area. Good, relatively reasonably priced sushi and other items. In the summer months, they have lounge-like outdoor seating.

If you are venturing further uptown and doing some sightseeing, I would stop into The Grange for a bite to eat or cocktail. Just around the corner from Alexander Hamilton's House and the top part of City College. They have serve brunch on the weekends and know how to make

Drinks & Nightlife
My go-to place in the neighborhood. Great happy hour, fantastic whiskey selection and an awesome staff. They have a hidden back garden in the back and the front windows roll up like a garage. Fun place.

You can't come to Harlem and not check out The Red Rooster. The well-known chef Marcus Samuelson owns this place. There is a lounge downstairs with live music, but they also play live music up by the bar. Reservations for the restaurant are recommended and the bar can get crowded, but the drinks and atmosphere never disappoints - locals and tourists alike frequent this place.

Revival of a classic Jazz nightclub. A local place to see jazz - they serve some kind of mash up of American-Asian food and they do brunch!

Parks & Nature
You are less than 1 mile to Central Park. If you want to go for a run, you can run the main park loop. The entire loop is 6.6 miles and there are only two traffic lights that you might need to abide.

One of my favorite places in the park. There are sections that
are a bit more manicured for my taste, but it has a serene quality, a lovely arbor, and it is sectioned off from the rest of the park, so there is no one playing frisbee here.

A bit far, but the best market around here, that is, until Whole Foods opens in the summer of 2017.

Not the greatest grocery store, not the worst. It is the closest, and generally, their prices are quite reasonable for Manhattan.
They have a small selection of vegan, vegetarian foods, a good selection of beer. They have tons of produce and pretty much anything you could need or want.
