Hunky Dory Cottage

Our recently renovated 'home from home' is situated in the heart of Oakham with the boutique shops of Mill Street and many cafés, bars and restaurants of Oakham on its doorstep. The castle & park are an easy walk away as are all the towns amenities & attractions. The cottage is surrounded by roses and has been decorated by the owner, Jane, in her own unique style. All 3 beds are king size making it ideal for small families or up to 3 couples with good size dining room, lounge and a new kitchen.

In the churchyard, neighbouring the award winning and brilliant Railway Inn, this 18th century Ketton stone cottage is a very special place to come and stay with friends and family. We have the Rutland Vineyard, a village stores, it is near Rutland Water, there are fab local walks, a great food scene, and there is Burghley House in Stamford, “England’s most attractive town” according to John Betjeman. For me, it is like the Loire and Cotswold towns, but friendlier and with fewer Range Rovers.

Set in a peaceful location - with amenities close by - and lovely walks to nearby woods and nature reserves on the doorstep. Enjoy uninterrupted views from the south facing terrace whilst you relax with a glass (or two!), or unwind in the orchard and watch kites soaring overhead. Or… relax in front of the log burner after exploring this beautiful area, often described as the undiscovered Cotswolds. Eat in or enjoy superb food at one of many local eateries. Located in the centre of the Historic Market Town of Uppingham. Based in is heart of the small county of Rutland. This apartment is a stones throw away to the gorgeous town centre, with markets every Friday, great places to eat and drink and some really cute little shops. A quick 10 minute drive to another Market Town of Oakham and not far from Rutland Water where you can enjoy some beautiful scenic walks. The apartment offers an allocated parking space and communal paved garden.

Victory Cottage is a beautiful thatched chocolate box cottage, set in a quiet location within Cottesmore village with countryside views to the front and village church to the rear of the cottage. Victory cottage is 4 miles away from Stretton Lakes and 5 miles from Rutland Water. The cottage is complimented by an abundance of period style features, a very homely cosy feel, contemporary kitchen and bath / shower rooms. Antique style electrical fittings and subtle lighting.

Idyllic Thatched Country Cottage - a hidden gem!

Situated in the picturesque village of Wing, this adorable thatched cottage is nestled in the grounds of beautiful Cedar House. The property was fully renovated in March 2021 and is the ideal getaway location to explore everything that stunning Rutland has to offer. The cottage is only 5 minute drive to Rutland Water, Uppingham and Oakham, so you have everything you wish to experience during your stay on your doorstep. Historic Stamford is also only 20 mins away.

Self-contained Studio annexe in Oakham.

Lovely studio, has its own entrance at the front of house and access to back garden through the patio doors in the room. Recently added a shower in the studio so it is completely self contained now. Small kitchen area with sink and a full size fridge, and a washing machine if needed. There is one double bed in the studio, but also a self inflating single air bed with bedding if required. Smoking is not allowed throughout the property .

A quirky, luxurious couple's retreat, with views of fields and Big Sky! Carefully transformed former agricultural storage buildings that have now taken on a new lease of life. The Silos are now fully equipped with underfloor heating, proper insulation and double glazed bifold doors, not to mention the king sized bed, Egyptian cotton and pillows galore!The perfect ingredients for a relaxing stay, whatever the weather.

Beautiful Conversion in Rutland Countryside

Come and stay in our lovingly converted barn in the middle of the Rutland countryside. Perfect for a quiet get-away with lots of walking and cycling from the doorstep. Set in a 3 acre plot of our family home, you will have access to a private garden at the rear of the property plus our orchard should you wish to bring 1 small - medium sized dog with you. Unfortunately, the property is not suited to large dogs.
