Our detached cottage is set in the heart of the village of Pontsticill. With CLEVA SPA TUB and PRIVATE CINEMA ROOM. Pontsticill is a Welsh village in the Taff Fechan Valley which is along the southern edge of the Brecon Beacons Closely associated with the Brecon Mountain Railway, a tourist railway which runs along the former Brecon and Merthyr Railway line. Immediately to the north of the village is the Pontsticill Reservoir which was completed in 1927. The rail and reservoir are very close.

Our cottage is set on an old working farm. We have some beautiful views and some lovely walks right on the doorstep. Crynant Cottage is based within the village of Ynysybwl, which is an old mining village. The cottage is just on the outskirts of a forestry called Llanwonno, which is fantastic for walking or biking. Within the forestry itself there are beautiful trails where you can find waterfalls and a reservoir, all within walking distance of the cottage.
