The Art Barn

Reconnect with nature in the forest oasis and former art studio of South African artist and fashion designer, Harvey Rothchild. Situated on the Garden Route amid rolling farmlands and natural forest, the Art Barn is located a mere 15 minute drive from Knysna and 20 minutes from Buffels Bay. We are on the lagoon front in Belvidere Estate's quiet and safe surroundings. The apartment is self catering with lounge, dining area,small kitchen and bedroom with en suite bathroom with shower .The local pub, The Bell is just a short stroll away as well as popular Oakleaf bistro serving delicious healthy meals , cakes and coffee. Step out the gate and take a walk around the lagoon to the jetty and Belvidere village or just relax on your private patio and enjoy the view.

The Knysna Garden Apartment

Our Garden Studio is on the ground floor onto our beautiful garden 5km west of Knynsa town. It is quiet and tranquil with all you need for a relaxing restful holiday or overnight stay. Within minutes you can walk to the lagoon or take short trip into town for dinner. We are situated just off the N2, well out of the main CBD which is why our beautiful suburb is so serene and peaceful. Sip cocktails on the patio and enjoy our lovely forested garden.

Rise and Shine Mountain Cabin, Wilderness Heights

Surrounded by fynbos bush and the sound of birds, you will have a unique nature experience and wake up to the INCREDIBLE views of the majestic Outeniqua mountain range shining in front of you! We are a simple, off the grid set up so do not expect luxury but rather the simple pleasures and nature in all its glory. Our property is a work in progress. We dream of creating a sustainable space by restoring our land and respecting nature in the process.

Goose cottage, situated in a fynbos estate.

Self catering, fully equipped large cottage with top end appliances and luxury bathroom. Very private, with gorgeous views of the Knysna lagoon. Guests will enjoy sleeping on beautiful queen slay bed with Egyptian cotton bedding, and a single bed. Kitchen has gas hob and microwave. Lots of private parking and close to town and eating spots. Camp cot available. Goose cottage is off the grid, so during loadshedding we are fully functional.

Forest Heart Cabin: Slipper Bath & Fireplace

Forest Heart Cabin is the perfect getaway. It is private and quiet, with a breath-taking view of the Knysna forest. If you're looking for a romantic getaway, champagne on the deck when you arrive and watch the sun rise over the mountains in the morning or soak in the luxurious slipper bath at sunset! The Cabin is ideally located and a 10-15 minute drive to Knysna, as well as the gorgeous Buffalo Bay Beach and a number of forest walks.
