Morpeth is a small country village in the historic heart of the Hunter Valley. Settled in 1821 it was once the main river port for the region. Enjoy this peaceful and centrally located authentic Morpeth cottage (circa 1890), just 250 metres from the main street and the Hunter River. Stroll cobbled paths to cafes, specialty stores, a Cellar Door and restaurants. Have a traditional pub lunch or a fabulous High Tea or visit Morpeth's award winning UAINE Candles for a unique candle experience.

GOUIG COTTAGE Nestled in the heart of Morpeth Gouig Cottage has been restored to its former glory. This newly renovated 3-bedroom cottage is only footsteps to the historic Morpeth village and 5 minute drive to the new Maitland Hospital. Beautiful garden cottage only 250m from the beach. Easy walk to cafes, restaurants and the legendary Shoal Bay Country Club. Due to work I can’t be on site at all times to sort out linen. Please bring your own sheet sets and towels, toiletries. I can arrange linen and towels through a 3rd party at an additional cost, just ask and I’ll get you a price. Hope you love the bay as much as I do.
