Newly remodeled relaxing get-a-away that sits just a block away from The Greenbrier River, with less than a minute walk to river access! We are located within the Snowshoe Highlands International Mountain Bicycling Association (IMBA) Ride Center and Monongahela National Forest, & are now featuring the 27-mile Monday Lick Trail System of single-track bike optimized trails that connect directly to downtown Marlinton. On the banks of The Greenbrier River at the base of Cheat Mountain in the old rail town of Durbin, is River House. A rustic, riverfront getaway just downstream from a WVDNR Trout Stock Point, beside the Mountain Rail WV Durbin Station, & 30 miles from Snowshoe. Nestled between WV's highest peaks & within minutes of our country’s best fishing, hiking, horseback riding, kayaking, biking, skiing, hunting, Civil War Sites, & historic trains, River House is a perfect base for all WV has to offer.

Rhonda's Retreat

A charming home in the heart of the small town of Marlinton. Greenbrier River and Trail both within walking distance. The home includes 4 bedrooms, 2 full baths, front porch and back deck, living room and fully equipped kitchen (no dishwasher) , washer/dryer, and satellite tv in two rooms. No internet or WiFi. No central A/C, but window units in two bedrooms and lots of ceiling and area fans. A short drive to Snowshow, Cranberry Glades, Cass Railroad, Greenbank Observatory and more.

Come and enjoy a relaxing, comfortable and peaceful stay at a fully furnished and renovated mobile home. This country home has a fully stocked kitchen, full bath, washer, dryer, and desk for a study area. Two (2) bedrooms: 1 queen; and bunk bed with full on bottom and twin on top. A fire pit to make S'mores! Coffee, tea, creamer, hot chocolate, snacks, toiletries, washing powders & paper towels, are provided for initial stay.
