This farmhouse was purchased by the host's parents in 1987. While being raised here with 8 siblings, this home felt very small. Milkhouse Cottage was rebuilt from the original Milkhouse built on our farm in 1906. Nestled in a peaceful valley across the road from the Rush River. Amenities include one queen bed, 1 queen sized comfortable queen sofa bed, air conditioning, private deck, private fire pit & 38 acres of private hiking trails and snowshowing trails. For larger groups we have another cottage on airbnb called the Trout Haus. Check on Airbnb or contact us regarding renting both houses.

Updated country home located one mile north of Afton Alps ski hill and golf course. We are across the road from Afton State park with miles of walking trails and the St. Croix River. You will love how peaceful this space is. There is also a fire ring and plenty of firewood to enjoy sitting outside. Large patio to enjoy coffee in the morning or a barbeque. We're also near many local wineries and farm stands, along with hiking, biking, kayaking, and fishing near the Rush River. We’re in the perfect spot for a relaxing weekend getaway or work-from-home retreat.

Peaceful, beautiful property with Trimbelle River within walking distance. Close to Red Wing /Twin Cities, Stockholm/Pepin, restaurants, bars and Treasure Island Casino. Different kinds of wildlife. Nice road to walk or bike. I've been here long time and enjoy it all still.
