Westcott Cottage. Come stay & meet our alpacas!

Our cosy, 1860's cottage has a self checkin entrance & sits in a private garden with views to the old barn. The living room, kitchenette, bedroom & bathroom make an ideal getaway for couples. Set on four acres, the property backs onto a treed area alongside the Werribee River. It has chickens & friendly alpacas to visit, but is a mere 5 minute walk into town. Ballan is the perfect base from which to explore Daylesford, Trentham, Blackwood, Creswick & Ballarat. All are within a 30 minute drive.

Blackwood "Treetops"

An almost entirely open plan house with a vast master bedroom upstairs and a bunk room downstairs, the house sleeps up to six, with a modern kitchen, wood fire, outside deck and large garden, set close by the Wombat State Forest. Suitable for children over five. Pet friendly. Blackwood 'Treetops' is also work friendly as the house has a large desk with landline and internet access. Due to the coronavirus, we are taking extra care to disinfect frequently touched surfaces between reservations.

Bacchus Marsh Villa. Unit 1

Our two bedroom villa is located on a block of 5 villas. It is situated approximately 10 minutes drive from Bacchus Marsh city centre. It is within 45 minutes from Daylesford, Ballarat and Geelong or the city of Melbourne. As you enter the front door and the main area of our unit, comfort and warmth radiates. Offering two bedrooms with queen size beds a third single fold out bed is available upon request. The bathroom offers a bath and separate shower and a spacious living and dining area.

The Studio, Bacchus Marsh

"The Studio" is a spacious, peaceful and self-contained retreat with a large open plan dining/living space as well as two good-sized bedrooms with up to 5 beds available (3 Queen and 2 King singles), a bathroom with bath and shower, a separate powder room/toilet and a laundry cupboard. With a fully equipped kitchen, espresso machine, huge dining table, wi-fi, a 75 inch TV, two 3-seater sofas, books and DVD's.. Guests can enjoy a game of table tennis, a BBQ, or a bounce on the trampoline.

The Barn

The barn is set up as a home away from home. Large kitchen and lounge room, bunk room and the other being the master bedroom with a queen size bed. Country and city views (amazing night light views) with outdoor sitting areas. Located on 40 acres with wildlife close by. Parking located to the left of the barn. If you need additional accommodation check out The Stables on Airbnb A wheelbarrow of wood for the indoor fireplace is supplied. Additional wood can be purchased by nearby suppliers

Monterey Eco Stay

A secluded and intimate luxury escape inspired by the need to live smaller and more sustainably, Monterey is an eco-friendly off-grid tiny house nestled amongst 35 acres of native forest offering guests the perfect opportunity to explore nature, unwind and recharge. Built from salvaged Monterey Cypress timber, the house offers a dreamy king sized bed downstairs and double bed in the upstairs loft. Explore the surrounding forest and wildflowers and immerse yourself in the sounds of nature.

Lovely Converted Train Carriage/ Garden Studio

Lovely rustic train carriage, built in 1914 and since converted into cosy and comfortable accomodation. The carriage accommodates one or two guests, with a queen size bed. Self sufficient, the carriage has a bathroom, microwave and small fridge. A private space, the carriage is nestled at the back of the property amongst the trees and garden. You will have direct access, with parking in the carport at the end of the driveway. Ballan train station is a 7 minute walk from the property.

Serenity - a beautiful mud brick home on 3.5 acres

Sit back, relax at the unique and tranquil getaway, Serenity. Set on 3.5 acres of gum trees and surrounded by nature reserve, you will feel totally secluded in this private space. Situated only 45 minutes from Melbourne, Serenity has an abundance of nature walks on our door step and is only 10 minutes from Bacchus Marsh, home to strawberry, cherry, apple etc fruit picking, cute and quirky cafes and restaurants. Close to Blackwood and the Lerderderg & Wombat state forests.

Whether you want to stay for 2 nights or 2 weeks, we make sure that you are comfortable. We live next door and rent out this house, which used to belong to our parents. Enjoy the fantastic location this "love shack" is set in - explore the area, see lots of wildlife and take a break from the city! Set on the edge of a national park, there are lots of walks & bike riding trails around. You are welcome to pat, feed and play with the horses. There are also push bikes and fishing rods you can use.
