With private access to Belfast City Park and Ocean, this charming space offers unparalleled privacy and serenity, and boasting breathtaking views of Penobscot Bay and beyond. The exceptional grounds offer an ideal setting for relaxation with the added allure of explorations along the shoreline or tennis/ pickleball at park/ year round hot tub. Near downtown and Rt. 1. No parties.

Lavender by the Sea

The Cottage rests over the end of Penobscot River as it opens into the Bay. The Cottage will comfortably accommodate two. The Cottage has a spacious bedroom, full kitchen, dining area, den and an all season porch with rockers. From Cottage there are views of the water and the lavender gardens. The gardens are terraced with a path down to the sea. The Carriage House Suite is available for an additional fee. it has has two bedrooms, a full bath and a sitting area. It can easily sleep four.

The Barn

I call my place "The Barn" because as I was finishing it it took the shape and feel of a barn. It's not a barn. It's a quiet post and beam open concept building (a Jamaica Cottages kit) set among the fields of Appleton, Maine. You'll sleep in the loft or on a futon on the main floor. The bathroom is huge, 10X10, with a heated floor. It's an open concept kitchen and living space. From Appleton you are 20 miles away from the tourist destinations of Camden, Rockland, and Belfast.

Newly finished single-floor home close to everything in Blue Hill. Open floor concept, large windows and view of Blue Hill itself from the front porch make this a comfortable place to hang out or base out of for day trips. Everything is within reach with either a short drive, a lovely walk or bike ride, including hiking trails, the ocean, Blue Hill mountain, restaurants, a coffee shop, and boutique shops, as well as the Blue Hill Co-Op and Tradewinds for your grocery needs.

Cozy home near the coastal town of Camden, Maine!

This home is in a country setting on Hatchet Mountain in Hope near the beautiful Maine coast and about 8 miles from Camden. About a mile from our home, is Hobbs Pond (2 miles long!) with public access for swimming, boating and kayaking. Hiking trails surround us, too! Beaver Lodge, a favorite spot for weddings and other family events, is also nearby. This listing has an exemption for all animals. For safety reasons, it may not be suitable for young children.

The Strawberry House

Passive house certified and winner of Leed project of the year, the Strawberry House (named by our daughter) has huge windows looking onto a field of milkweed and wildflowers. The property is 4 acres and very private; the road is walled off by a thick border of foliage. Behind us is only woods and there are miles of lovely nature trails accessed from the bottom of our field. It's only a 2 mile drive to the center of town Enjoy!

Boatyard cottage

Just steps from Penobscot Bay, this cozy, privately-situated cottage is an is a 100-year old Sears and Roebuck catalog house. Charming, yet still highly functional, the home is a perfect place to just relax or use as a base to explore Mid-Coast Maine. The property has a lovely backyard with a picnic table, grill and gardens. It is a short 5 minute walk to a public beach and within driving distance of many more!
