The Tree Cabin

The heated tree cabin is set within a small secluded wood up a steep path. Cedar lined, insulated and oak clad it cantilevers out over a remote mill pond. Wake up in a tranquil heaven only shared with shy wildlife, including deer, hare, the odd badger and a variety of birds. In the cabin are a king-size plus bed, table and chairs, kitchen area with induction plate, microwave oven & toaster. Your own smaller tree cabin, a few trees away, houses a flushing toilet and hand basin with spring water.

Set in the beautiful Derbyshire countryside in the village of Parkhead, between South Wingfield and Crich The property is an ideal base for walking, writing, climbing, cycling, exploring and relaxing. Lots of local walks Close to Crich Tranway and an ideal base for Chatsworth and Haddon The property is very rural with outstanding views across to South Wingfield Outside there is the use of an above ground pool during the summer and seating areas (closed Sept - mid May) Pool is closed

An extensive network of footpaths lead to Extwistle Moor, the cairn circle & tumuli above Ell Clough, the Bronte Way, Pennine Way & Bridleway. Sorry no dogs. No loud music.

Retaining many original features including mullion stone Windows, kitchen floor, steps, beams, floorboards and inglenook. It has a private secluded hot tub for an additional cost. Exclusive use of the owners private heated indoor swimming pool, spa bath and sauna is also available for an additional charge, subject to availability.
