Garden Escape: Guesthouse next to Woodlands

The treehouse is currently out of bounds for safety reasons. We are very sorry for any disappointment. Strongly advised to arrive by car or taxi, especially at weekends. 1 King bed, 1 double sofa bed all in an open plan living space with a small kitchen area. Separate shower room. We have 14 acres of wood and the outhouse sits next to it. There are footpaths in the country from our doorstep. Oxford is 3.5 miles away. There is a risk of ticks due to the wildlife. The Cotswold Wash House nestles in the slopes of the Windrush Valley on the edge of Great Rissington. The village has a manor, church and inn; all the charm of a bygone age. The compact cottage combines antique furniture with modern interior design. You'll find a super kingsize bed with crisp, white cotton bed linen. The kitchen is fully equipped. We provide a generous breakfast hamper which includes: tea, coffee, milk, cereal, bread, eggs, butter, jam, marmalade and some cookies.

The Dacha has everything : peace and comfort for two adults with its own garden, fire pit & evening access to a hot tub in a pretty private courtyard next to the main house (6-10pm). Eat at the fabulous Three Horseshoes gastropub (two minutes' walk) or have a beer and stock up at Jeremy Clarkson's new pub and farm shop, The Farmer's Dog (fifteen minutes' walk). Easy access to all the famous Cotswold villages as well as Diddly Squat Farm, Daylesford, Oxford and Blenheim.

Also the local pub provide a collection service from their Covid menu (5 min walk).
