Newly built guesthouse above owner's garage with insane sunrises & great view. Property is located on 36 acres, owner lives on site in a separate house with her 3 dogs, 1 exceptionally lazy cat and 4 rogue chickens (they may all come visit you!). Grounds have ancient apple trees, loads of perennial gardens with more in progress, berries and an organic vegetable garden that we would love to share from if desired. Ahh it’s autumn, the most beautiful time of year in the mountains. The air is crisp and the foliage is always spectacular! Unique guest suite in the midst of wide-open mountain views in farm country. Comfortable airy rooms, full bath & your own living room with games, puzzles, books, cable tv and WiFi. Complimentary coffees, teas and cold drinks. The Farmhouse at The Cross Farm

Both floors of a restored 1910 farmhouse less than a mile from Mt. Abram main lodge, and 6 miles from Bethel and Sunday river. 3 private bedrooms sleep 6, with one full bath on the first floor and a small half bath on the 2nd floor. Large living room, large kitchen with dining area, deck has outdoor dining area with gas grill and there is a full laundry room. Access to 80 acres (for walking and biking, but no motorized off-road vehicles are allowed) and approved pets are welcome!

My place is close to the great outdoors! Hiking, biking, horseback riding, swimming and all water sports. We are an easy drive to three wonderful ski areas.. You’ll love my place because of the coziness, the location, the views and all the outdoor activities in the western mountains of Maine.. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, families (with kids), and furry friends (pets). In season you can enjoy fresh vegetables from our gardens.

We go the extra mile to make your stay enjoyable and comfortable. (Please note our mattress is FIRM and there is a long flight of outdoor stairs to access the suite.)
