Hermanus is just a few kilometres away. Due to the nature of the town we very strictly do not allow any parties or loud music, as set out in the house rules. Unfortunately no group bookings for under 25’s. Inverter and battery powered during load shedding-ensuring continious power to the property.

The small forest forms part of LOKAL, a 1ha property, with an vegetable garden , Orchards of fruit & nuts, some chickens & the Garden Cottage.

20 Mins from Hermanus and 1.5hrs from Cape Town, hidden in the beautiful Middlevlei Nature Reserve on the mouth of the Bot River is this majestic log cabin. The cabin is situated within a 200m walk of the lagoon and 1km from the beach. It consists of 2 bedrooms (2 x DBL bed, 1x Single Bunk) & 2 bathrooms, indoor fireplace, open plan lounge, dining, and kitchen area downstairs with a balcony upstairs. There is a large outdoor entertainment area with a built-in braai and picnic table.

Kliplyster is a beautiful house situated against the mountain with breathtaking views over the lakes and ocean. The peaceful nature surrounding the house makes it the get away from the city buzz. Enjoy a braai with beautiful views or relax in the heated pool. The recently installed jacuzzi outside at the back is a great way to relax or do stargazing at night. Betty’s Bay has endless activities for the whole family. With convenient Solar inverter and battery backup.

Oppiedam Family Cabins (Flamingo)

The cabin is situated right on the edge of the Bot River lagoon. Has a big garden and the views are fantastic! Within walking distance of the beach and close to communal pool and tennis courts. Cozy 2 bedroomed double-storey log cabin, with two bathrooms. Queen size bed, double bed and single bed on the mezzanine. The wild horses often graze in front of the cabin and at times there are hundreds of terns and flamingos! Fully equipped for self-catering.

Tranquility

This cosy, friendly home, beautifully situated on the Vermont Salt Pan is a perfect get away for the whole family. The mountain views are exceptional, bird life plentiful and the tranquility will be hard to beat. Evening braais on the north facing under cover patio, overlooking the Pan will be unforgettable. Cliff path to two stunning tidal pools only 5 mins walk away.
