Quiet Retreat for Two

Spend a starry night in the country with the comfort of a soft bed, a wood stove, and plenty of space both indoors and out. Our yurt is located in a pocket of trees next to rolling farm fields and beautiful conservation land that the Rocklyn creek meanders through. You can prepare your meals in a sweet outdoor kitchen that is entirely screened in- or choose to sit by the fire. Bruce Trail access is just around the corner, and the towns of Meaford and Owen Sound are a short scenic drive away.

Alpaca farm stay and bunkie getaway.

A farm stay on your way to soaking up all that our county has to offer. The bunkie is located next to a restored century barn and an outdoor pool. The property is home to 5 alpacas, mini goats, chickens and our family dog. The bunkie is on a shared property with our home. It's 1 hour from Toronto, 20 minutes from Hamilton, 1-hour from Niagara-on-the-lake and 10 minutes from the historic Ancaster village. Antiquing, hiking, nature tours, golfing, wine tours, farmers markets and more close by.

Tiny Farm Retreat

Escape to the Country to relax and reset! You’ll love our Tiny House with your own designated outdoor space. It’s totally private and separate from our family home to ensure a peaceful getaway. Perfect for a romantic trip or a quiet space to refresh. This small cottage is built on an oversized trailer frame, and feels very spacious. A private 4 season hot tub allows you to enjoy outdoors all year long! Occupancy is for 2 adults and 2 children, not 4 adults, due to local licensing laws.

Yurt in a private forest area. Walking distance to the cheese factory (ice cream, lunches, snacks), produce stands, and a park. Short drive to Madoc (groceries, beer/ LCBO, parks, beach, bakery, restaurants, etc). Perfect area for star gazing, long walks & bike rides. This yurt is in a camping setting, with indoor compost toilet, seasonal private outdoor shower, no wifi but there is electricity, dishes, indoor hot plate, BBQ, mini fridge, all pots & pans and bedding and clean drinking water.
