INSIDE THE NATIONAL PARK. The Cabin on Pennington Hill is the perfect rustic cabin for a couple or small group of 4. Set on top of a hill overlooking a beautiful pond, this cabin will give you a taste of the West Virginia outdoors. The perfect affordable base camp for outdoor enthusiasts. You'll spend most of your time outside enjoying the deck and the view but when you move inside you'll have a comfortable queen bed and a futon to sleep on. A basic kitchen has everything you need.

It is perfectly situated, with the feeling of being in the woods while still located near all town's amenities. Summers offer close access to outdoor adventures like fishing, hiking, rafting, biking and so much more. Winters are peaceful and cozy in the cabin surrounded by snowy mountains. There is ample parking for larger groups. We do have Wi-Fi and decent cell coverage!

Located on 100 private acres with hiking trails. Relax in the hot tub or at the boulder-top fire pit. My wife and I live locally. Enjoy your time in the trees! Hear the white water rapids of the Gauley from our front deck as you take in the scenic views of the forest. Truly, a one of a kind experience. Our treehouse is located in Boulder Trail, which is on over 100 acres of private land. It also includes a common area with a covered shelter, with an outdoor Fireplace that’s a short walk away. We are located 5 minutes from Summersville Lake and 15 minutes from New River Gorge National Park!

The Pond at Mt Nebo - a 16 acre retreat

Located near Summersville Lake, the Gauley River, Summersville Sate Park, New River Gorge National Park and Preserve and Fayetteville, my house sits on 16 acres to relax and get away from it all. My goal is to make the house comfortable but still have all you need to feel at home and hang out with your friends and family. I have owned this place for 17 years and have been wanting to share this place with others to experience this great place.
