This cottage oozes charm and character. It has an open plan feel although a beautiful mahogany screen divides the bedroom suite from the living area. Rose Cottage is a stand alone cottage on an acre property. Guests have access to the exquisitely maintained garden and the private and secluded swimming pool and pool house. There is parking available for one vehicle on the property. The main house is occupied by the owners and two dogs and a cat. There is a full time housekeeper and gardener on the premises.Rose Cottage is only serviced from Monday to Friday for between 11am and 12pm and not on the weekends and public holidays. The cottage is situated in the upmarket, leafy suburb of Bishops Court. Clifton, Kalk Bay, Simons Town, Cape Point, Constantia valley wine farms, Kirstenbosch Gardens and Table Mountain are all on our doorstep as are major shopping malls/restaurants. Bishops court is not close to public transport and guest either hire a car or make use of the ubiquitous Uber taxis. The property is fully alarmed with access to armed response.

The cottage is ideal for a solo traveler or a couple looking for a romantic hideaway that is just a brief walk from Cape Town's trendiest restaurants on Kloof Street and just below Table Mountain. There is full backup electricity for load shedding. Please note that there is construction nearby and 2 large (and incredibly friendly) dogs on the property.

Simple large cottage in lovely area of Hout Bay

This large cottage is located in the lovely area of Kronenzicht, Hout Bay. It has 1 bedroom and 2 bathrooms. Very central and easy drive to town. The main beach is 2 kilometers down the road. There is a separate entrance and secure parking on the property. Wifi and DSTV (cable) available. We, the owners, live in the main house. We are easy going and friendly. The area has a lovely mountain view but no view from the actual cottage. Please check the amenities and house rules before booking.

Interior is light, modern and with a Scandinavian touch. 5-7 minute walk to Bakoven Beach, and 10-12 min walk to Camps Bay beach with all the restaurants, bars & coffee shops. Off street parking and private entrance. 2 min walk to a Superette.
