East Tennessee Mountain Life (Best Kept Secret)

Skip the tourist trap & get the best of mountain life right here in the middle of it all. You will be king of the hill in our beautiful log home that is situated on top of a private 6-acre knob with mountain views. We are located approximately 15 minutes to the Hiwassee River/Cherokee National Forest & 25 minutes from Tellico Plains, Cherohala Skyway, Ocoee River. Plenty of things to do: hiking, bicycling/motorcycling, ride in an air glider, tubing, whitewater rafting, trout fishing, & more.

Double T Farm, Cabin. This is a working farm.

This small cabin is located on a small farm consisting of 29 acres. The location is quiet and just a short ride to Watts Bar lake, the Lost Sea and Tsali Notch Vineyards. One hour from Cherohala Parkway, Knoxville or Chattanooga. This is a working farm raising alpacas, sheep and cows. We also have a barn cat, guard dogs and geese. We will introduce you to alpacas and how the fiber is used. We have Katahdin sheep and Black Angus cows. Farm tours are available upon request after 5 pm.

Little House On The Quarry

One of the earths truly unique places! Enjoy an experience with the ultra clear blue water of the quarry with fish, high rock cliffs, a raft, and a pedal boat. The cabin is a true log home built for guests to love. Relax on the covered porch with hot tub, rocking chairs, and amazing water views. Entertain yourselves with the arcade, satellite TV, WiFi, Rokus, and backyard games. Fire pit and park style grill are also in the backyard. Fire wood and coffee are provided. Pet friendly. Enjoy!

Cozy Cottage on Peacock Farm

Take a break and unwind at this peaceful oasis minutes away from Downtown Athens and Tennessee Wesleyan University. Attractions in Knoxville, Chattanooga and the Hiwassee and Ocoee Rivers are less than an hour away. Only a little further to Dollywood and Gatlinburg for any tourist activity you can imagine. The cottage offers a kitchen, queen size bed, TV, DVD player, and washer/ dryer. *Currently working on getting wifi in the cabin and there are not any actual peacocks on the farm.

Grassy Valley, East Tennessee

Neatly situated in the foothills of the East Tennessee mountains, half-way between Knoxville and Chattanooga, this house feels away from it all without being away from it all. It rests on 59 acres in the shape of large football stadium, with a valley and pond for recreation, and short drives to whitewater rafting, underground caverns, scenic railroad rides and waterfall trails for mountain hiking and biking. Or simply sit and relax on deck overlooking the valley or around a campfire.

Private, yet less than an hour to tourist attractions in Knoxville/Chattanooga) , motorcycle destinations (Dragons Tail, Cherohala Skyway) Ocoee & Hiwassee Rivers for kayaking and rafting. Only a little further to Dolly World and Gatlinburg amongst other day trips.

If you are looking for a get-away experience with a beautiful mountain backdrop, this is it. Nestled into 300+ private acres of cattle land and woods, our cabin overlooks rolling pastures and the Blue Ridge Mountains. Plenty of adventure are nearby too - world-class white-water rafting on the Ocoee River, or for a quieter adventure, try fly-fishing or tubing down the Hiwassee River. Carriage House

Located just steps away from beautiful downtown Sweetwater Tn. this 1882 gorgeous original carriage house has charm and history. In 1908 it became a the public library for almost sixty years and then became a beautiful home. Located close to hwy 75 Downtown Sweetwater has lots of Antique shops, boutiques, and great restaurants. Our home has been completely updated with all the amenities you would wish for.
