Hummingbird Hideaway

The Hummingbird Hideaway is located in the beautiful Bennett Bay area of Mayne Island. It's a very private guest accommodation located separately from the main residence with its own driveway, parking area and side entrance. It has a full kitchen, living room and dining area, bathroom and shower and a separate bedroom with a queen size bed. There is a covered patio out front with a table and chairs overlooking a lovely garden. Bennett Bay beach and Bistro is a short walk from the Hideaway.

Welcome to our bright new studio space. Come and enjoy this unique and tranquil getaway looking over the ocean to a stunning view of Mount Baker. The suite is self -contained with a private entrance and deck. This is a wonderful location for discovering the many things the island has to offer including markets, vineyards, brewery, galleries, studio tour, dining, hiking and kayaking. We offer complimentary coffee, tea and a few special island treats . We are here to make your stay special.

Mid-Island Garden Suite Getaway

Peaceful and centrally located garden patio suite. Birdwatch while deer graze nearby in this park-like setting. Short walk to restaurant & groceries, coffee stand and shopping. Close to beaches, farm stand, local artisans, breweries and hikes. The suite has a private entrance on large gated property shared with a resident cat and on-site owner who is often found in her work shed or garden. Please excuse the occasional sound of power tools and cat calling. Covered bike storage.

Garden Suite 15 min to Victoria, airport, ferries

Peaceful light filled suite with serene garden and valley views and glorious sunsets. Completely private with 2 spacious bedrooms, beautiful well stocked kitchen and modern bathroom. Come for a weekend or a long stay and experience everything West Coast has to offer. Hiking trails, lake shore walks, ocean beaches and world famous Butchart Gardens are just minutes away. Wonderful Victoria and Sidney are only a 15 min drive as well as the airport and BC ferries.

Fernhill Rural studio suite

This modern suite is totally self contained and attached to my home which is on one acre of land, facing a farm and backing onto a farm. It is ideally situated for exploring the island. Between 5 to 10 minutes walking are stores, a restaurant, a coffee stop, tennis/pickleball courts, extensive walking trails and a brewery. My space is quiet and fully equipped. “Your” deck is yours alone and is mostly shielded from the area I use.
