Quirky cottage completely renovated using as many recycled materials as possible with some special touches. Recycled materials were used from The Art Deco Mayfair threatre in Kaikoura. Also materials used from The Adelphi Hotel built in 1918. Kitchen custom made out of recycled cross arms off power polls and various other native timbers. Birch Hill Cottage is the original Head Shearer’s Cottage from c1900. It has been fully renovated & is a wonderful spot to come completely relax. We have planted 100's of trees and are working on establishing a garden paradise over the 11 years we have owned the property. We are continuously upgrading the cottages & land. Riverbank Cottage

RIVERBANK COTTAGE AWAITS YOU. Riverbank cottage was originally the lean-to off the main homestead. In 2002 we moved it across the garden rebuilt it and lived there happily while the homestead was renovated. The cottage faces northeast overlooking our vineyard towards the Richmond ranges. It is within a stones throw of the Wairau River.
