Come stay in your own cozy, rustic mini apartment, a little over 25 minutes from the Portland suburbs, and about 45 minutes from downtown Portland. Our home sits on two wooded acres. You'll have a private deck, private bathroom, private entrance, and private living space. There is a queen bed in the bedroom and a futon/sofa in the living area that makes a twin-size bed. Check-in time is after 4 pm. Early check-in is possible, just contact us. No Smokers! One pet on approval, up to 45lbs.

The Bag Inn is a Hobbit Style Home. Filled with comfort and wonder, it will help you step out of the mundane world and retreat to a fantasy world. The Bag Inn features a fire place, walk in shower, and soaker tub. It is 1000 sq ft complete with separate bedroom, large luxurious bath, living and dining space. This studio apartment is the perfect get-away retreat for the outdoor enthusiast: 20 minutes to Silver Falls State Park, 2 miles from the quaint downtown Silverton, and well within driving distance of all the Willamette Valley has to offer. And while unsupervised schmoozing with the horses isn't allowed, if you'd like we'll be glad to introduce you to some of the herd. You can rub elbows with equine royalty - the offspring of two Kentucky Derby winners!

Enjoy a French press coffee in the morning while sitting on the porch viewing the beautiful nature surrounds; water fowl on the pond, deer, cows, occasional Coyote, bob cat and elk. Or relax inside by a peaceful mini wood stove.Bring a book, board games, or some meaningful one on one conversations /alone time. Go for walks on the 45+acres surrounding!

Our Hideaway studio is a cozy, recently renovated studio suite located within walking distance of downtown Salem, the state Capitol, and Willamette University. The Hideaway has total privacy, with your own entrance, full bathroom, kitchenette, and washer & dryer. Our neighborhood is close enough to downtown to enjoy walking to local restaurants, shops, Riverfront Park, and more. The I-5 freeway is a 5-minute drive from our home, making it easy to get to neighboring cities.

My family lived here from 2015-2022 when we decided to move to a bigger place. We rent our place exclusively on Airbnb and our retired parents have the space nextdoor.
