All rooms are individually decorated with (1) queen bed, private baths with shower & standard amenities. These rooms have small bathrooms & dormers over the beds/windows. Rooms include our buffet breakfast & wifi. There is no ocean view but beach is within walking distance. *Not suitable for travel cribs or cots, 2 guests max.* **Please note there are NO ELEVATORS in any of our buildings

We suggest researching the area ahead to know what’s nearby and come prepared, as we aren’t always instantly available to reply. Direct ATV/snowmobile trail access with trailer parking. On-site Pub Lounge: Thurs 4–8, Fri 4–10, Sat 12–10 with food, drinks & events. Some sound may carry—no complaints so far, but please don’t book if that may be an issue. Ask about private 1920s theater time! 🎬

Freedom House Cottage Room #3

This is a quiet and quaint private room with a queen size bed and ensuite bathroom in our Cottage Building. A mini-fridge, microwave, coffee maker, WiFi, and cable TV are provided in the room for your comfort. Our entire facility is SMOKE FREE! We are located in downtown Dover-Foxcroft within walking distance to shops, cinema, restaurants, bank, post office & drug store. A full breakfast is available for an added charge of 20.00/person, but must be requested at least 24 hrs prior to arrival.

This peaceful King Room with a private bath is located on the first floor & has everything you need for your trip! The old beams across the ceiling and huge pine floor boards make this room extra special, not to mention the propane fireplace & stunning views of The Machias River! Antique decor with a touch of Maine in the room help to capture that 1830’s farmhouse vibe. The room is stocked with coffee, linens, & soaps, along with a tray of goodies ready for your arrival! A guest favorite.

Lobby is a common area with live edge furniture and comfortable furnishings with TV. Your room has its own TV. Ample parking for cars and snowmobiles and trailers. Laundry facilities on site. Located on the historic former Loring Air Force Base. Easy access to Maine School of Science and Mathematics (MSSM).

This charming inn built in 1799 is the perfect unique spot for your getaway with family or friends. The Elms is a historic Queen Anne Victorian mansion built in 1882 to serve as luxury accommodations for international executives and dignitaries visiting the local paper mill. Overlooking the Presumpscot River across the street from the old mill, the building retains many of its original architectural details, featuring lofty ceilings, grand staircases, exquisite woodwork, and antique furniture.
