Waterfront Artist Retreat

Our camp is located the heart of the Adirondacks in upstate NY . It is a beautiful four season cabin on Lake Abanakee . The camp is adorned with Adirondack art and furnishings made by my artisan friends and I. Lake Abanakee is a favorite for canoes, kayaks, photographers, fishermen and families. Enjoy glamping in our new screened in lean to or swimming and boating from our private beach. Although our camp looks like a rustic retreat, we have high speed internet and all the modern conveniences.

Whether it’s skiing, hiking, biking, climbing, swimming, or fishing the Adirondacks have it all & we’re the perfect spot to embrace the true feeling of the Adirondacks.

Enjoy our 160 acres in a private natural setting. Owls, trout, heron, osprey, mergansers and the occasional loon will add to your stay. There are over 4 miles of private trails for hiking along the river and in the woods. Kayaks & fishing poles provided. The "Mellow Moose" cabin is a quiet and peaceful retreat in the woods. Spend the day exploring the region or simply relax in nature. Afternoons are great for reading a book as the sun shines through the large living room windows. Relax on the screened in front porch for a quiet evening and a drink. Or enjoy a campfire and watch the sunset through the trees. Use this as your home base for a ski trip or take a trip to Schroon lake, Brant lake or Lake George. (Roughly 30mins)

3-Acre Cabin: Private Beach, Sauna, Pool Table

Enjoy a wooded Adirondack setting with all the amenities you need including a fully-stocked kitchen, rec room with pool table and sauna room. You'll have access to a scenic private beach. Gore Mountain is about 15 minutes away. Hiking trailheads are minutes away. The rustic Garnet Hill Lodge & Restaurant is up the road to enjoy lunch, dinner or their cocktail lounge. You can take a 12 minute ride to historic North Creek for restaurants, shopping and antiquing.

CAMP HUDSONVIEW

Dizzying views of the Hudson River! Sweet cabin modest in scale, simple and pure to not detract from the richness of the views, offering a fresh, invigorating sense of just what is needed, nothing more. The rugged primitive siding was harvested from on-site cedar trees; the knotty pine interior was locally sourced. Friends gifted a claw foot tub and historic farm house sink. Enjoy an optional hot tub experience in our Japanese spa.
