Welcome to our slice of heaven in Leelanau County. Relax and unwind in the new large private guest suite in the lower level of our home. Private access is on the north side of our house. Perfect location to take advantage of all the beauty and activites offered in the area. Only 3 miles south of Suttons Bay, a short drive to Traverse, and close to the Leelanau Trail, award winning golf course, wineries and beautiful beaches. Renters will not have access to our backyard and waterfront area.

This light and bright newer lower level suite is almost 900 square feet with an open floor plan. Rooms include a living/dining/kitchenette area, private bedroom, and bathroom. All very crisp, clean, and modern. A separate parking area will lead you down steps to a private patio adorned with seating for a place to relax and enjoy the rolling hill backyard and woods. The suite is stocked with several amenities to make your stay comfortable, including a welcome bottle of local wine and goodies.

Our space is 5 minutes from downtown Sutton’s Bay, right on beautiful Lake Michigan Bay. Spectacular views with an amazing private deck. Everything you need for a memorable stay. Centrally located in Leelanau County for wine excursions, dining and shopping. Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore is only a 40 min. drive. We are ten minutes from Traverse City, 18 from Northport and 14 minutes from Leland’s historic Fish Town. It’s truly a great UP North experience. (Possible road noise)

Enjoy beautiful Stoney Point! Bike and walk quiet country roads through woods, fields, and orchards with surprising views of Grand Traverse Bay. A small local park is 1/2 block away with great vistas, swimming and an easy kayak launch. Suttons Bay with its beaches, marinas, restaurants and unique shops is a 3 mile ride along the shore. North of Ordinary

North of Ordinary is a private guest suite situated along the Old Mission Peninsula wine trail, only 2 miles from downtown Traverse City. The space has a separate entrance with locks, a private bathroom and outdoor patio space. The suite also has a miniature refrigerator, microwave and a coffee maker with complementary tea and coffee. As your host, I am happy to provide recommendations regarding local attractions, but will otherwise offer complete privacy.

My house is the first house north of Cherrybend on the bay side. My place is close to the beach, restaurants and dining, parks, art and culture, and great views. You’ll love my place because of the location, the ambiance, the neighborhood, the outdoors space, and the people. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers. I am on premise and available to answer any questions. I live in the main house.
