Rent our spacious, pet-free mountain home with towering fieldstone fireplace! State forest views. 4 bedrooms + futon nook sleeps 10-12, 3 full baths. New for 2025: decks, 65” tv, linens & towels, fast internet. One guest loved our "national park-level views." Cross country skiing, hiking and snow shoeing on property. Weber gas grill. 12 minute drive to downtown Stowe & Waterbury historic village, 25 minutes to the ski lift at Mt. Mansfield. Sorry, no pets allowed, hosts are allergic.

Spectacular location, great for skiers in winter or hikers or foliage viewers in season. 20 min. from Stowe Village. Spectacular 270-degree view of Mt Mansfield (Stowe Mountain Ski area). 15 wooded & pastured acres for hiking or snowshoeing. Guests share the home entrance with the host. We DEEP CLEAN before your arrival and after your stay with us. Because of the COVID-19 pandemic and the fact that I am immuno-compromised, WE REQUIRE GUESTS OVER 12 TO BE VACCINATED.

Maple Forest: hike-bike-ski

My place is close to Mount Mansfield for skiing and hiking, right on xc and mountain bike trails, across the road from the Matterhorn where there is fantastic wood fired pizza and sushi! Our location is fun-tastic! Although the house is private up in the woods. We are typically quiet here by 10 pm, but you can howl all night at the Matterhorn if you like and just walk up the drive home, never drive your car! Safer... We have coffee and granola for breakfast. .

Beautiful Authentic Farmhouse close to Stowe

Built in 1902 and restored in 1988, we have tried to keep true to the authenticity of a working Vermont farmhouse. Thus the name of the farm Antiquity Acres. Here you will find, a quiet place to rest, away from noise but minutes to Stowe on a beautiful dead end road with picturesque views. A private working horse farm sitting on 90 acres of open pastoral land with mountain views, complete with 2 spring fed swimming ponds, and walking trails.

Historic Farmhouse/ large bedroom with fireplace

Historic paneled suite has a double bed as well as an adjoining study with a single bed, a desk with an office chair, and a fridge. Bedroom includes chairs and a table and fireplace, and opens to the private study and shared bath. Room is furnished with antiques. Lots of outside seating and gardens weather permitting. We are featured yearly on a local garden tour. Breakfast is provided in our gardens or kitchen if desired.
