The Loft on Hobbs Pond

Please read the entire listing before booking! Enjoy the serenity of Hobbs Pond (swimming, kayaking, fishing) while being centrally located with easy access to the beautiful midcoast. The Loft is located on the 2nd fl. of a newly constructed, timber frame barn. This is an open concept studio space with a king sized bed, indoor climbing wall, cozy reading nook, indoor swing, and expansive views of the pond. There is no indoor plumbing - a private portable toilet is around the corner of the barn.

5 acres of lawns, gardens, and meadows and a gentle rocky beach on Blue Hill's Salt Pond, a protected inlet of the Atlantic Ocean. The house faces south towards the water and overlooks a gorgeous blueberry field that turns a majestic shade of deep red in the fall. The restored 1850 farmhouse is surrounded by old stone walls, perennial gardens and over 300 dahlias grown in raised beds. Take a stroll down the woods road to a dock on Lermond Pond. Listen to the loons or take a refreshing swim. Highfields Dahlia Farm is a perfect getaway for couples and solo adventurers. 15 minutes to Camden or Rockland or take a day trip to Acadia National Park.

Oak Grove Cottage at Sennebec Pond

Get cozy and settle into this charming cottage built in 1957. Located in Appleton, ME which is 20 minutes outside the picturesque town of Camden. In 2022 the cottage was completely renovated inside and out. New plumbing and new electrical was also completed. This charming cottage boasts 1 bedroom. The open beam design painted all white and dark brown flooring make the cottage feel much larger than its 26x20 foot print. The property also boasts a dock and outdoor grill. Truly charming!

Great home base to unwind or to explore mid coast Maine. Trails to water also connect to the Saint George Conservancy's "Fisherman's Pool" trail, which is popular with locals for fly fishing.

Snow Sweet at The Appleton Retreat is very private, check out the Trail Map. This contemporary yurt faces the Field of Dreams and has a nice view of Appleton Ridge. It features a private therapeutic hot tub on the deck, a fire pit, and fast wifi. The Appleton Retreat encompasses 120 acres hosting six unique retreats. To the south is the Pettengill Stream, a resource protected area. To the north is the Nature Conservancy's 1300 acre reserve.
