Woodsy Retreat - Private tiny home in the GA pines

Relaxation, restoration, and renewal await you as you arrive at the peaceful surroundings of Woodsy Retreat, a cottage nestled back in the trees on 5 private acres!!  Prepare to relax here at the cottage with all the comforts of home, but without all the chaos!  The cottage comes complete with these outdoor amenities: hammock, rocking chairs, fire pit, games, grill & more! After hosting hundreds of guests for nearly 5 years, our guests tell us they always leave feeling rested and restored!

The Guest House

The Guest House is a primitive cottage and resides on 400 acres outside of Barnesville, Georgia. Bunn Ranch is a working cattle and sheep farm. This space is a two story primitive cottage with primitive artwork and a claw foot tub. Sit in your choice of antique rockers that have been collected over the years. The floors and stairs were salvaged from an old home that was here on the farm. Surrounded by rolling hills and close to town, come enjoy some time for YOU! We will consider STR students.

Little House on the Quarry

We’d like to invite you to the “Little House on the Quarry.” We purchased this old rock quarry and it hasn’t been mined since 1968. The water is crystal clear blue and up to 75ft deep. It has rock walls up to 100ft high. The camping is completely secluded with breathtaking views and an outdoor shower. There is a walking trail that leads to another lookout with a rose garden. This isn’t like anything you’ll find in GA. Access to the quarry/water is available for an additional fee upon arrival.

The Hollow: Experience Life Off-grid!

The Hollow offers guests an offgrid escape deep in the heart of Middle Georgia’s most beautiful area. Nestled on 5 remote acres, our one-room cabin overlooks a 3 acre pond. Enjoy fishing or sunbathing on the dock, camping, bird watching, and all the beauty of this natural, undisturbed setting. Solar-powered water well and propane water heater for showers in the outhouse. Fire pit & firewood available on site. Limited solar power. *We are currently making improvements to our dock area.*

There is a spacious backyard with a fire pit and breathtaking wooded walking trails to a nearby historic Grotto. This Lodge is perfect for romantic couples and families with small children. Studio located on private wooded 20 acres with 800 sq foot of space, crafted with reclaimed materials wood and metal. Large deck overlooking 7-acre lake with burn pit. Private entrance with electric fireplace, television, music, Queen size bed, sofa, bar with stools, refrigerator, 2 burners cook surface, microwave, Keurig, toaster, dishes and cookware. Private bath with compost toilet, shower and sink. Access to paddle boat with life jackets available. Fishing rods if you want to try it!
