Casstevens Homestead Farm House (Entire House)

Casstevens Homestead House located on 145 acres near Mansfield. great for long walks in the country, or a place to get away. This is a working farm with livestock. House is approximately 150 years old, dating back 5 generations. There are large back pastures for walking out in the country. Pets are welcome, but we do have Great Pyrenees on the farm to protect our chickens. They are very friendly but the will probably greet you at the door. We can stable your horses for riding on request.

This cabin sleeps four, with a queen bed downstairs and another queen bed upstairs. It has a full kitchen with a coffee maker, coffee and WiFi. Pets are also always welcome. Bring your fishing poles, boat or kayaks and head over to Hamm Creek Park to enjoy the tranquility of the river. Approximately 50 minutes from Fort Worth and an hour and 15 minutes from Dallas.

1890's Bunkhouse Getaway

Make some memories at this family-friendly place. Built in the late 1890's, this bunkhouse was a place to rest for working cowboys. Today, you can enjoy the updated home by watching horses peacefully graze, enjoy a cookout, play a board game, or read. Located two miles from downtown Alvarado and has two bedrooms, two full bathrooms, a study space, and internet connection. There is a fenced area of the backyard for dogs to run around. Riding lessons are available dependent on schedule.

Private cottage, many clearings in the woods suitable for tent camping of children while adults enjoy the cottage! Within an hour of Fort Worth yet remote enough to still see the Milky Way at night. Bring your telescope! Owners grass airstrip under renovation but inquire about using the neighbors.

The house is near to a golf course at Kirtley park and we have golf clubs available for our guests. Across the street there is a lake and our guests can use the canoes and kayaks we have at the house.

Family farmhouse located on a horse ranch & rescue

Our rustic farmhouse is located on a horse ranch and rescue. The updated kitchen provides everything you need to prepare meals. Relax next to firepit overlooking our scenic horse ranch or cook on the gas BBQ grill. The home is a duplex, (both sides can be rented together when available). This side has 1 bathroom with an antique bear claw soaking tub with a shower conversion. The bedroom has a queen bed and there is a futon in the living area.
