The Riverbend @ Old River Acres

Forget your worries in this spacious and serene space. The Riverbend is located just outside of Wilmington NC in the quaint town of Burgaw. Nestled on the banks of the NE Cape Fear River, this is the perfect place for a getaway. Just under a mile from Old River Farms wedding venue, 20 minutes from downtown Wilmington, and just a little more to Wrightsville Beach. The house sleeps 10 adults or up to 12 with kids. Enjoy the dock, shoot some pool and play some foosball. This place has everything.

The Beach Flat

Renovated cozy, comfortable, well appointed third floor walk up studio (no elevator) in gated Pebble Beach Community. Studio is walking distance to the beach and overlooks the courtyard. Along with enjoying the beach, remember to also take advantage of the community amenities. The community has two outdoor pools and one heated indoor pool, tennis courts and a fitness center. We're Todd & Julie! Our goal is that you have an amazing stay in Jacksonville, whether visiting your Marine, the beaches, or working we are close to much, but still away from it all. We have 4 kids, 6 grandchildren and love N. Carolina. The people and weather drew us here. We love sharing our home with others and enhancing their vacations! Miles of breathtaking water views looking towards Swansboro from this riverfront cottage that has been newly renovated inside & out. A mile dirt road takes you off the beaten path & a private setting on the end of a dirt lane with only a few other fishing cottages. You will love the peace & quiet & refreshing breezes. Enjoy sunrises/sunsets from the pier! Access to kayaks, canoe & 2 paddleboards. Enjoy the ospreys dive bomb for fish, an occasional dolphin, & other birdlife.

This home sits in a family friendly neighborhood that is in walking distance to Wilson Bay Park, Sturgeon City and the Riverwalk area of downtown Jacksonville. Very close, as well, to Camp Lejeune, Marine Corps Air Station and Beirut Memorial. If Kayaking is your thing, check out the pictures! Public kayak ramps are available at Sturgeon City.
