The Blue Cow Barn - Betsie Cottage

The Blue Cow Barn Accommodation is situated on a working farm, 1km from Barrydale town centre. Our farm has gone through many seasons - from a fruit farm to a dairy farm and now a guest farm. Our cottages are named after the cows that were part of the dairy and Betsie is our most flamboyant and eccentric cottage and cow. You'll love this cottage as it is situated in the original farm barn that dates back to the 1960's and the gorgeous mountain view. This cottage also has access to the hot tub.

The bedroom leads on to a lovely enclosed area where there is a dining table and comfortable patio furniture, here you can sit with the doors open or closed and enjoy the wonderful view. There is a fridge and microwave with tea and coffee making facilities. Through these doors there is a large patio area with a bbq and utensils. The views from this room are amazing

The farmhouse is 30 yards from the river, and has an enchanting beautiful wind free outdoor lounge area on a jetty connecting you to the river. We are 45 km from Swellendam and 48 km from Bredasdorp... remember to do your shopping of fresh products before you hit the gravel road... Ouplaas shop is 4 km away and Malgas 13 km.

The Studio @ The Place

Escape to our retreat for nature lovers, in the magical untouched Klein Karoo, easily accessible from Route62 and the N2. The Studio is comfortable, modern and open plan with private shaded outdoor seating, spectacular views, a plunge pool and free wifi. It sleeps 4 plus two children.
