A short hike upstream leads to George W. Childs Park with 3 tumbling waterfalls, a rustic trail system, and observation decks. A longer hike downstream will bring you to Dingmans Falls. DWGNRA offers swimming, fishing, hiking, biking, canoeing, and kayaking, all within minutes of the cabin.

The Thoroughbred Cottage is the quintessential, early 1900s Pocono vacation cottage. Located on our commercial horse farm, the cottage has been entirely renovated but has kept its unique original details. Views include our upper pastures and wooded hillside of the state game lands beyond. The cottage is set back on our private lane, but is close to all major Pocono attractions and wedding venues. Our guest suite has a private entrance adjacent to the main house with a kitchen , living room, bedroom with a full bed and full bath. Also a porch with patio furniture, a charcoal BBQ and 50 acres to explore. We supply sheets, towels, kitchenware, coffeemaker, TV, internet, Wi-Fi and AC.
