The apartment is a 10 minute drive from downtown Palmer, 25 minutes from Hatcher Pass and a beautiful 45 minute drive from north Anchorage (60 minutes from the airport). The apartment is a great base location to explore Alaska with easy driving to hiking, fishing and local tourist attractions. Alaska state fairgrounds are a quick 15 minute drive away.

Only 2 miles off highway,good road right up to door. Has 2 small decks.relaxing scenery, due to remodeling private fire pit not available You can get your exercise walking to the lake. Dock. We have loons, eagles, and some other Wildlife. On 17 mile lake. Has trout, so bring a pole. Great couple getaway. Questions just ask.

We call this the "Blue Ice Aviation Lounge". It is a private upstairs apartment in my hangar. The Lounge is modern, cozy, Alaskan, and very comfortable with a slight aviation theme. We have Skeetawk ski area, and the Government Peak Recreation Area within 15 min. GPRA has lighted ski trails and biking. Hatcher Pass Basecamp Chalets are nestled at the base of Hatcher Pass in Palmer, Alaska. Enjoy the trails from your front door and use the chalet for all your adventures in Hatcher Pass. Hiking, biking, skiing, sledding, await you just outside the cabin door. Each chalet is 2 bed 2 bath with washer and dryer and modern features like radiant in floor heat.
