Welcome to Island Peace, our beautiful island getaway for family vacations or small retreats. We’re located in a quiet neighborhood with ample yardspace for playing and watching the deer roam. Located a couple-minute walk to a semi-private sandy beach, you can swim in the crystal clear, shallow water of the St. Clair River’s South Channel while watching freighters pass by. Enjoy fishing or watching sunsets from our North Channel dock or one of the several DNR access points throughout the island.

DOG FRIENDLY! 1 mile from the Detroit Zoo 2 miles to the Royal Oak Music Theatre, Rust Belt Market 11 miles to Midtown, LCA, Comerica Park, & Fox Theatre A great location with easy access to I-696 & I-75. Our place is a cute home in an up and coming, very safe community. We actually live here full time, and AirBnB it while traveling. WiFi is available. Kitchen is at your disposal. There is a dedicated workspace in the study. Yes, a whole room just for that. And of course a big tv to relax at night, unless you chose to go out and explore local nightlife! Please note that due to certain restrictions we are exempt from hosting guests with dogs or cats even if they are service animals.
