This home sits on our grandparents' original dairy farm established in the late 1950's where we were born and raised and still run cattle. Whether you are just passing through, spending time at Mark Twain Lake or visiting America's Hometown of Hannibal, our farmhouse offers a country escape to rest and relax right off Hwy 61. We are 20 mi from MT Lake, 10 mi from Hannibal, and 30 mi from Quincy, IL.

The John Sydney House - Family Friendly Queen Anne

This classic 3 BR 1 .5 BA Queen Anne Victorian (c. 1892) has retained many original features that are just breathtaking! A grand oak staircase, original hardwood floors & trim, stained glass, French & Pocket Doors to name a few. Staying here offers the traveler in search of history a clear connection to Hannibal's past, its place in time and to the local culture – with modern amenities! Genevieve’s Federal House

This home is a fully restored 1 story Federal house, which you will have full access to. It is located close to the Mark Twain Boyhood Home, and right off Broadway. The house comes furnished with seating, furniture, and 2 Roku televisions. There are two bedrooms, one bathroom, a dining room, living room, and a kitchen. The home has central air conditioning and heating, washer and dryer, dishwasher, and a beautiful clawfoot cast-iron tub with shower. There is off street parking.

Molly’s Riverview Retreat

Built in 1844 by the first Judge in the territory, , Molly was headed to this house when the Titanic sank. The Cottage was built in 1903, with the age of the home comes with many flaws, you will find cracks in walls, ceilings, maybe even glass. The scuff each have a story and the stories that could be told, if paint were able to talk. The home is not perfect, but just affordable and cozy. We do allow dogs on our property, cats are not allowed, we apologize. We strive to make your stay comfortable by including the home with essential items needed for the duration of your stay.
