Tiny House at Wooded Bliss Homestead

On the edge of our family homestead overlooking meadow & forest, this tiny house offers a quiet, cozy refuge only 45 minutes from Acadia National Park. There's a twin day bed on the ground floor & a double futon in the loft. Tiny kitchen & bathroom with shower (2 temps: hot or cold) too. A heat pump keeps the place toasty warm or nice and cool. Our family's gazebo, grill, fire pit, hammock, trails & garden are shared with guests. A beautiful beach across the bay from Acadia is down the road.

The Greenhouse Cottage

We feel that the best way to describe our getaway to be “Rustic Elegance”. When you walk through the door you will instantly feel the warmth of a uniquely styled Adirondack cottage. Located nearby to the Acadia Highway (aka Route 1), we are close by to historic Fort Knox, Castine, and Acadia. Enjoy our attached “Greenhouse” which has been made over into a delightful screenhouse/patio, the country setting, blueberry fields, and the beautiful sunrises and sunsets! Fire pit, horseshoes, more!!!

Early Riser barn-loft on Organic farm near Acadia

A unique offering for those who want a true farm experience! A clean, rustic above-barn space. Farm animals live below-Winston the roo may crow (early!) Chadde our pet pig may grunt, chickens will cluck! There is a 2 burner stove, cold water sink seasonally(jugs provided in winter) a dorm fridge, and basic kitchen ware. Tea and coffee provided, veg & eggs for sale The shower is at the main house, and a bucket-style compost toilet is in the apartment. There’s a full bed and a fold out couch.

Mini Moose Tiny Home

Our Mini Moose sits on our 75 + acres of beautiful Maine woods. Two miles from the center of the coastal village of Blue Hill. We have had 6 years of successful rentals. Fire pit & view of the pond from the deck. A wonderful path around 2 ponds, swimming is allowed and a contemplative walking labyrinth. Perfect getaway for a couple or single person to explore the natural beauty of Downeast Maine. Only 45 minute drive to Acadia National Park and close to all that Downeast Maine has to offer.

Hemlock Cabin.

Nestled in beautiful Hemlock grove is this cozy cabin. Its equiped with all the necessities of home to make your stay comfortable. Guests will have private access to Scammons Pond, also known as, R. Lyle Frost Managment Area. Its a fun place to kayak and fish. From the cabin its about a 45 minute drive to Acadia National Park or Schoodic Point. Besides Acadia, there is local hiking, nearby shopping, local restaurants, the Sunrise Trail, and other Maine adventure just waiting to be explored.

Cottage on the lake

Cozy cottage on Graham Lake. Sleeps up to 5 people. But keep in mind the cottage is very small and would be tight for 5 adults. It’s more suited for 2-3 adults, or a small family. Imagine coffee on the deck with a view of the lake. Bring your canoe and fishing pole, or browse the shops and restaurants in downtown Ellsworth. If you like the outdoors, there’s plenty to do. The area is filled with hiking trails and beautiful views. Just 45 minutes from Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor.

Private Studio in the Heart of Orono

Slip into the comforts of a private, clean, and modern suite. A plush mattress, crisp white linens, granite countertops, and a rain shower. Walking distance to many of Orono's microbreweries and restaurants. Four minutes to UMaine campus (1 mile), 10 minutes to Bangor, 1 hour and 20 minutes to Acadia National Park/Bar Harbor. *The building next door is undergoing renovations. Guests may hear some light construction noise Mon-Fri during normal working hours.*

Hidden Retreat Right Next Door

Welcome to Hidden Retreat! My goal is to make sure my guests are comfortable, happy and have everything they need! Your small private studio is approximately 10x14 plus the bathroom. Be aware that the room is small and has a private entrance. This room has a small kitchenette, microwave and refrigerator plus some other amenities. Coffee, tea and a few snacks are provided for your comfort. The bed is a queen size bed, which I'm told is very comfortable!!
