Kleiner offener Küchen-Wohnbereich. 3 Zimmer mit eigenem Bad. Eingezäunter Bereich, Grill, Tisch, Stühle, Bank. Der Montgomery-Kanal befindet sich vor Ort, die Lodge befindet sich direkt an der Hauptstraße A483, einst Principal Estate. Spaziere nach Welshpool oder fahre 5 Minuten mit dem Auto.

Der Summerhouse Tower ist ein ganz besonderes Ferienhaus für zwei Personen in der hügeligen Landschaft von Shropshire. Dieser einzigartige, romantische Rückzugsort ist ein denkmalgeschützter Turm der Klasse II und bietet eine hervorragende Aussicht nach Osten sowie einen Blick auf die Shropshire Hills im Süden und Westen. Der Turm, der um 1607 erbaut wurde, wurde ursprünglich als Banketthaus für die Unterhaltung von Dinnergästen genutzt. Während das Haupthaus durch einen Brand zerstört wurde, steht das Sommerhaus das ganze Jahr über für gemütliche Aufenthalte zur Verfügung.

We are situated on the outskirts of a private residential area, just 400 metres from the centre of the historic market town of Welshpool, there are various shops, supermarkets, pubs & restaurants. The magnificent Powis castle is a short walk from the town centre, through the beautiful parkland. Other attractions include Montgomery canal & light railway.

Cook up a storm in the kitchen and relax by the fire.

Red House Cottage (self catering cottage)

Modern, very comfortable and very clean. Sleeps 4, double ensuite room and double/twin room also ensuite. Outside area, fully equipped kitchen and comfortable lounge. In a quiet village setting with two pubs serving food within a two minutes walk of the cottage. Free wifi, smart TV’s in bedrooms. Until recently Red House Cottage was run as a B&B but the owners decided to fit a kitchen to create a self contained cottage for self catering holidays. The cottage is on the side of our home.

Situated opposite the town’s train station for the Llanfair Heritage Steam Railway. Its location affords easy access to the gateway of wales. Uneven flagstone steps to 1 double bedroom. Sofa bed in living room and single bed via steep stairs.
