SilverWolf Lodge on Lake Nantahala

Located on picturesque Lake Nantahala, Silver Wolf was built to get our guests as close to the lake as possible while also maximizing mountain views — from every room in this lakehouse. Locals call it the "glass house,” because its lake-side walls are almost entirely made of glass. The home features a large open floor plan that seamlessly integrates indoor and outdoor living spaces, complete with indoor and outdoor fireplaces. There are three bedrooms, with 2 master suites, and each bedroom faces the lake. It also boasts a bunk area that sleeps 4. This region of Western North Carolina has a little something for everyone, with activities that will appeal to the adventurous, from white water rafting at the Nantahala Outdoor Center to great hiking trails in Great Smoky Mountains National Park. When I built our barn a while back Airbnb didn't even exist and we were excited to be starting a goat dairy . Now the kitchen sits where we used to milk our sweet goats by hand! We are happy to offer our guests a unique living space located in the heart of the mountains, 30 minutes from Asheville. You are welcome to roam our 28 acres on our trail system, swim in the pond, and decompress from your daily routine. Cell service is limited but we have Fiber Optic Wifi for calling & streaming.

Welcome to PaddleFin! You will enjoy the beautiful lake and mountain views from the large deck on the house and a deck close to the water. This is a peaceful retreat - cell phone service is not available or very limited, no Wi-Fi, and no TV service. We allow A MAXIMUM of 4 guests! There is one king bed and one queen bed. We currently have two kayaks (one single and one two-person), two paddleboards, and a canoe available for use by our guests. Paddles and life jackets are included.
