The Lake House at Rough River

Bring the whole family to this Lake front property with lots of room for fun! Enjoy the lake and swimming just steps from the screened in deck! Divided on three levels are 4 spacious bedrooms, 2.5 baths, open concept kitchen and living, 2 living areas, and 3 decks to enjoy. There are two sets of stairs inside the home and various sets outside the home. Please keep this in mind when booking! Rough River Lake is a U.S. Army Corps of Engineers waterway. The water level fluctuates with the season.

Summer is winding down and fall is approaching. Get your booking dates in while openings are available. Fall is the perfect camping season of the year. Cool nights and great bond fire weather. Come enjoy our 20 acres backed up to the redline. With creeks and waterfalls a few steps away. With the high water levels in the spring the access trail is still open but the shore line isn’t suitable for kayaks at this time. We still will rent them out for guests but wanted to make aware the conditions.

Lake Front view -WOW!! Fishing is abundance. Host has 2 paddle boards & 1 kayak. Life jackets are required. Wax Marina 3 miles away for all other watercraft rentals (boats, jet-ski, mat’s ). Must rent in advance. Community ramp 5 mins with a courtesy dock , Iberia ramp 1 mile a sandy beach. Other things to do: Buoy Restaurant wet bar over looks Wax Marina State Park 15 mins beach/play area, miles of hiking, bike trails. Mammoth Cave National Park 25 mins by the Green River Fair etc

With comfort in mind we have made it a priority to make sure your every need will be met. The Kitchen has been stocked with all new pots, pans, dishes, coffee and everything in between. If we don't have it we will get it.

Cricket's Landing

This house provides a spacious area for relaxation and fun! There is a beautiful view of Rough River Lake from the very large back deck. There is also a small upper deck that connects to the upstairs bedroom. The upper level of the house consists of two bedrooms (one a queen bed and the other a bunkbed) and a large bathroom. The lower level has three bedrooms (one queen and two full beds), the dining room, kitchen, living room, and bathroom/laundry room. Plenty of room for family and friends!
