North West Coast Highlands Cottage

Seaview is a traditional detached 3 bedroom cottage on the west coast of the Highlands. There's a stream running alongside with views of the rugged hillside to the right and the beach just across the road to the left. Views from the front of the cottage include the An Teallach mountain range. This cottage's location makes it the perfect base for a whole host of Highland activities from gentle relaxing walks and sea or fly fishing to outdoor pursuits like mountain biking and kayaking adventures!

The property is for a minimum of 3 nights. Perfect base for relaxing. A few minutes to the shore and 30 mins walk along to peaceful beaches. Jetty nearby which you can drive down to and take your own kayaks there too.

Foulis Castle Gate Lodge

Foulis Gate Lodge is a Highland cottage on the Gates of an historic, private, Highland estate with its own drive. The secluded location offers direct access to extensive gardens. The nearest amenities are 2miles in Evanton or 5miles to the ancient Burgh of Dingwall. Foulis Castle is a 15 min walk away from the Storehouse Restaurant & Farm shop, which is situated on the shore/beach of the Cromarty Firth (Mon-Sat 9-5pm). My place is good for NC500 travellers, couples, and business travellers.

The studio is detached but in the same grounds as our house. It has its own private entrance and parking. You enter via the fully fitted and equipped kitchen: dishwasher, fridge with small freezer compartment, microwave, induction hob, electric fan oven, kettle, toaster, cooking utensils, crockery, cutlery, and glassware. From the kitchen you then enter the open-plan lounge/bedroom where there is a king sized bed with feather and down duvet and pillows and white bed linen and towels.

Gate Lodge on Conservation Farm Isle of Skye

Opened in January 2020, the Gate Lodge is a charming octagon with plenty of original character. Warm and well-equipped, it has been completely renovated and sits within the grounds of a working conservation farm. Strictly No Smoking. Only a ten minute walk from Loch Bay Restaurant, the Stein Inn, Skyeskyns and Diver's Eye, the lodge is surrounded by nature and wildlife with stunning views. It offers the perfect, peaceful break. "Taigh na Bata" - Boat House

Shore-side house with a sandy beach just across a very quiet lane. Stunning view of Broadford Bay & Beinn na Caillich. Excellent base location for touring Skye & the surrounding area. After four great years of hosting with AirBnB within in our home, we've used the covid hiatus to transform the old croft house into a spectacular and luxurious retreat. An Airidh (Gaelic for 'The Sheiling") is a cosy cottage for two that has recently been lovingly refurbished to a high standard in traditional style. It nestles below the mighty Liathach and the seashore, in the village of Torridon and has wonderful views of the mountains and sea all around. It has a well equipped kitchen and dining area, a comfortable living area and bedroom with an en suite shower room. All are centrally heated and perfect for all seasons.
