Unplug in this peaceful little getaway. Nestled in the backyard of our little hobby farm near the Wood River, you will be able to visit our alpacas, goat, or honey bees. Sit and relax on the porch, or stroll through the pasture or neighborhood. In many ways, the cottage resembles a tiny house with a small bathroom & shower, kitchen sink, microwave, induction hot plate, coffee maker, plates, glasses & utensils. Many of the restaurants & shopping amenities are located on the north end of Kearney.

Come explore the great outdoors when you stay at the river house and enjoy the quiet as you look over the South Loup River Valley. There is river access for all kinds of water fun from tubing, fishing, kayaking, and swimming. Relax with the family in our conveniently located home. We purchased and remodeled this 1930's bungalow keeping as many original features as possible. What started out as hobby, paired with Gothenburg's need for affordable lodging, has blossomed into a way for us to raise a little extra money for our daughters college fund. We are located just four miles from top ranked Wild Horse Golf Club, two blocks from Highway 30, one mile from Interstate 80, and three blocks from historic downtown.

Welcome to this lovely home, which retains elements of it's nearly 100-year-old history. It is located in a quiet residential area with a comfy living room where you can relax after long hours of driving. High-speed Internet is equipped for everyone to utilize. And a washing machine and a dryer are provided in the basement. Additional pillows and blankets are provided as well. It's very close to downtown, only takes about 3-5 minutes to restaurants, banks and shopping centers.

This cozy home has an open feel and two spacious bedrooms. Step into the house with an inviting fireplace and a quiet sunroom. You are within walking distance to three parks, Lake Helen, and downtown. A mile north of town is the Wild Horse Golf Course giving golfers links on rolling hills and wild grasses.

The Shop House

Finally, somewhere to stay in Bertrand Nebraska - Unique property. It is a shop house (or Barndominium). loft-style living room over 2 bedrooms, one bath. Living room seats 12, dining table sits 8+2 at the island. The rest of the building is the owners own space, but can be utilized if there is a need. Options for washer & dryer + second bathroom are available. Great for family gatherings or visits, executive overnights, hunting or whatever brings you to town.
