The Woodland Cabin is set on the edge of a forest near the beautiful small village of Abbey St Bathans, just 1 hour south of Edinburgh. Come and relax in the woods with a book or grab your hiking boots or bikes and explore the surrounding countryside. We're a 20 minute drive from the coast which has stunning cliff top walks and beautiful little bays and fishing villages. If the dates you want are not available please have a look at our other property, 'Shannobank Cottage'

Borthwick Farm Cottage Pottery

The Pottery, nestled in the tree line across from our cottage, looks directly out onto the stunning Borthwick castle. This is a lovely area for walkers, hikers or anyone seeking peace and quiet in a tranquil environment or a romantic weekend getaway nestled below a remote historic castle. The hamlet is also only 30min drive (or 20min train) into central Edinburgh- perfect balance of city to green countryside. Please note we cannot accommodate children or pets.
