Reise in die Vergangenheit in diesem restaurierten Pullman-Eisenbahnwaggon aus den 1950er-Jahren, der mit dem zusätzlichen Luxus der Annehmlichkeiten des 21. Jahrhunderts ausgestattet ist. Der Waggon befindet sich auf Gleisen, wo die ursprüngliche Linie durch Ullock am Rande des Lake-District-Nationalparks verlief, wobei der Fluss Marron darunter fließt. Erlebe eine einzigartige Reise mit der Möglichkeit, auf die Plattform zu treten, um sich zu sonnen, zu frühstücken oder zu Abend zu essen, und sich dann in das antike Kingsize-Bett mit Ankleidezimmer, eigenem Bad und Eden-Toilettenartikeln zurückzuziehen.

Isabel's Cottage gehört Lisa & Ivan. Wir wohnen gleich nebenan. Das Hotel liegt am Rande des Lake District, versteckt im alten Teil von Great Broughton, in einer ruhigen Gasse direkt an der Hauptstraße mit schönen Spaziergängen entlang des Flusses Derwent direkt vor der Haustür und Blick über den Fluss und die westlichen Fjelle. Cockermouth & Keswick sind nur eine kurze Autofahrt entfernt, zusammen mit den Küstenstädten Maryport & Whitehaven & den Stränden von Allonby & St Bees. Einfache Anbindung an die Seen und die Western Wainwright Fells.

Unser luxuriöses freistehendes Lakeland-Cottage im Dorf Lorton liegt in einem verborgenen Juwel eines Tals und ist ein ganzjähriges Reiseziel . Zwei schöne Schlafzimmer, von denen sich eines in Einzelbetten verwandeln kann und jedes mit eigenem Bad bietet Flexibilität für Paare und Familien. Wir haben eine gut ausgestattete Küche mit Everhot-Herd und eine gefüllte Speisekammer. Parkplatz für drei Autos, EV-Ladegerät, Fahrradraum, Gärten und ein Grill. Dies ist ein großartiger Ausgangspunkt, um die Magie unseres Lakeland-Tals zu genießen.

Based on the edge of the beautiful Lake District with commanding panoramic views of the Western Fells , here at Wellington Farm Glamping Breaks our 6 pods are fully fitted with electrics, heating, lighting, an ensuite and kitchenette. Our pods sleep 4 people (2 adults, 2 children). We provide all bedding and towels for your stay. We've even gone the extra mile by installing 7ft hydrotherapy hot tubs at each of our pods which allows our guests to fully appreciate the panoramic views of the fells.

The hut is set in the middle of a family farm, forget about your busy lives and sit back and relax in this peaceful location ideal for a romantic retreat, with views up the Lorton valley ,cozy up into front of the wood burning stove and plan your adventure for the next day. The hut has no electricity but has solar lights, and a separate composting toilet, all bed linen is provide along with wood for the stove. A breakfast hamper will be delivered to your door in the morning

Welcome to Highside a delightful cottage set in a secluded location overlooking the tranquil village of Lorton. Dating back to 1695 (as engraved on the fireplace in the kitchen), the cottage retains many original features but has been sympathetically modernised. The cottage resides within our farm, Terrace Farm with open countryside and panoramic views of the Lakeland Fells and numerous Wainwrights including Melbreak, Whiteside, Low Fell, Hopegillhead to name but a few.

Toddell Barn forms part of our traditional Lakeland longhouse farm, built in approximately 1710. Toddell Barn sits within approximately 7 acres of agricultural land that helps attract a wide variety of wildlife. Toddell Barn is located in the hamlet of Brandlingill (2 miles south of Cockermouth) and is within the northern boundary of The Lake District National Park, categorised as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2017.
