Unwind in our cozy cottage on the world famous Wild Atlantic Way/Slea Head Drive. Bask in wonderful coastal views and glorious sunsets strolling along coast-hugging roads, breathing in fresh sea air, sit out enjoying starry skies before falling asleep to the sound of the sea. Arguably Irelands best scenery, enjoy views of Dingle Peninsula/Coumeenoole Bay, the Blasket Islands and Dunmore Head. The famous Coumeenoole beach is a 10 minute stroll, Dingle town is 10 miles away and Killarney 50 miles.

Perfect base for hiking, cycling, visiting the Blasket, viewing stars at night, listening to the sound of the sea, with peaceful beaches and beautiful walks nearby. We are on the wild Atlantic Way, at the tip of the Dingle Peninsula, the halfway point of the Slea Head Drive. We are a 20min drive west of Dingle town. We have a pony.

Word of warning: we are VERY remote, (1km off the road down a rough track). With almost no public transport, own transport (eg car) is highly recommended - see Getting Around!

World famous link golf courses , Waterville and Dooks are on the doorstep. The "Kerry Way hiking trail " a 200 km hiking way runs past the cottage. We are a km from the romantic Rossbeigh Beach. The Cottage at Coole Farm is located on a Dairy Farm on the Dingle way over looking Caherconree to the south of the Cottage. It an ideal rest for walkers or even for people who wish to holiday in the Camp area of west kerry. The Cottage is homely with a taste of old mixed with the new. The Cottage has two bed rooms en-suite and a spacious kitchen and living area. The Cottage is located only 2km from the village of Camp where there is many pubs, Restaurants, a shop with fuel pumps.

We are situated on the Beara Peninsula, just up the road from Helen's Bar in Kilmackilogue. Our Shepherds Hut called The Bothy, overlooks the sea, and is three minutes walk to the beach. Enjoy nature at its best with views of Kenmare Bay and its surrounding mountains. It is a hikers paradise, lying just off 'The Beara Way' . Cyclists will also be in their element with The Healy Pass a few kilometres away. Kenmare is half an hour away with wonderful shops and restaurants.
