Please note that you may need to use stairs to access your room. By booking the King Room, you will have easy access to our private hiking trails that lead directly into Rocky Mountain National Park and access to over 4000 ft. of Fall River. The Roosevelt

What a lovely space on one end of the Lodge! You can sit here and look down the valley at such beauty. The Hideaway was named after the Roosevelt Mine, which opened in 1907 after the gold and silver crash, reportedly closing in 1919 due to differences amongst the owners. Although it never operated commercially after that time, veins were pursued until the 1930’s. President Roosevelt actually visited Pitkin and stayed at the local hotel which is still in operation.

Includes access to on-site hot tub, sauna, cold plunge, communal cooking area, hiking trails, WI-Fi and more.

Our double queen lodge room is located inside one of the largest log lodge buildings in the west. It’s a grand rustic lodge with impressive lobby with large views in all directions.
