The Miner cabin is small & cozy with one room and a full bath with shower. There is a counter with a two eye burner plug-in stove, microwave, toaster, Keurig, and a mini fridge. Coffee, creamer, sugar, salt, pepper, basic cookware, and dishes are supplied. The cabin sits as one of six across from the historic Paxton Lodge. It is walking distance to the beautiful Feather River and our private sand beach. We have a few walking/hiking trails on the property, or drive to others. Lawn games and more!

Amenities include a kitchenette with a mini fridge, microwave, Keurig, induction cooktop, grill, electric fireplace, washer and dryer, luxury cotton linens, and a king mattress. Filtered lake views on a quiet street with plenty of driveway parking for vehicles and RV hookups (220V hookup may also be used for EVs). Walking distance to Knotty Pines Marina, Big Cove, and Lake Almanor Resorts, restaurants, and a convenience store.

It's well built and sits off the road a bit and invites you to relax and enjoy what the Lake McCumber /Mt Lassen community has to offer. The sounds of silence radiates through the trees and gives that sense of calm we all wish for in our daily lives. Once inside you find it a comfortable stay. Backyard is awesome! Stay another day!

We are a pet-friendly dwelling and welcome all pets who have good house manners. As we do live upstairs with 3 pets - there will be some footsteps from time to time. This unit stays nice and cool in the summer and there are heaters to keep warm in the winter. There is lots of space to socialize and a full kitchen to utilize. Whether traveling for work or pleasure - The Storybook Suite will provide a cozy mountain farm retreat.
