The Copper Hide - Beautiful and Unique Escape

The Copper Hide is a unique escape at Arth Valley Retreat on the west coast of Wales. This old dairy milking parlour was converted into accommodation some years ago but has recently (2024) benefited from a complete makeover. With a roll top bath, mezzanine bed with large star gazing window and Woodburning stove. During your stay you’ll be free to roam our piece of the valley that flows down to a river with waterfalls. Only a few minutes from the sea. Come and enjoy this romantic spot in nature.

You can meet our Highland Cows, the Horses & Chickens (all included). Close to forest tracks and the beaches of Aberaeron & New Quay for dolphin spotting & watersports.

Escape the ordinary in our charming, grade-II-listed Welsh cottage. Traditional Welsh crogloft is idyllic for a couple. Two children or one additional adult welcomed upon request, sleeping on the sofa bed. Tight squeeze for 4 adults, please request. This retreat combines historic charm with modern comforts. A characterful gem: 300 yr old listed longhouse, south facing, self-contained, and beautiful! Gloriously peaceful, surrounded by wildlife, stunning landscape, protected ancient woodlands, and your own private river beach - with fishing rights! Wave to the 19th c. steam train puffing by on the opposite hillside. Great for walking, cycling, horse riding, wild swimming. 20min drive to Aberystwyth for castle, pier, beaches, bars, excellent restaurants, Museum and Arts Centre.

Stowaway on the cliff!

The Stowaway is located on the cliff in the beautiful fishing village of New Quay, right on the coastal path. Along with the spectacular sea views guests can enjoy relaxing on their private balcony whilst watching the dolphins play. Why not fire up the bbq provided for al fresco dining! With only a 5 minute stroll to the harbour and beaches guests can enjoy a variety of activities including wildlife boat tours, watersports and lovely reastaurants and pubs.

Unique eco cabin, outdoor bath, pet friendly.

Hand crafted cabin with panoramic views to the Preseli hills and 6 miles from local beaches. Own garden and wood fired bath. A really comfortable and simple place to stay. Great if you want peace, quiet and privacy. It has a comfortable king size bed. There's a wood stove for heating and firewood is supplied. There's a compost toilet and a warm shower. There is a well equipped kitchenette plus a parking space for your car. Pets are welcome.

Wildernest - Ty Twt

Ty Twt - neat and cosy - is part of Wildernest, a haven set in the coastal hills above the delightful Aeron Valley. Sleeping is in the croglofft, above the kitchen-living space, with the 2nd bedroom and the shower room at ground level; underfloor heating and log burner. It can sleep 4 but we say 3 people comfortably. Hence, there's no charge for a fourth person. If you need the second bed to be made up please enter 3 (or 4) guests.

Recently renovated and tastefully furnished, and equipped with all the essentials, the cottage serves as the perfect bolthole for a memorable holiday. Enjoy breath taking coastal scenery and create unforgettable memories in this idyllic coastal getaway.

Cosy Shepherd's Hut

This delightful shepherd's hut situated on our smallholding in West Wales (lovingly built using low impact and reclaimed materials), offers a fantastic base to explore the nearby beaches, mountains and other attractions. The thoughtfully furnished interior includes a super comfy double bed, simple kitchen and cosy woodburner. Outside is a large decking area, your own unique walk in spiral shower and a separate compost loo.

Glovers cottage: private hot tub and super king

Glovers Cottage is without doubt something unique. As you enter you will be struck by the space and the overwhelming character of this detached building. The owner has deliberately left the barn open-plan for guests to appreciate the huge A-frame beams and stonework. A feature handmade bed sits on the first level as you enter, and this area leads down two steps to the flagstone floor.

Cosy Cottage Close to the Beach

Welcome to our lovely character filled cottage ‘Y Bwthyn’ situated between New Quay and Aberaeron. It provides an ideal base to explore beautiful Cardigan Bay and the Ceredigion beaches. We’re less than a mile from Cei Bach and Traeth Gwyn beaches and half a mile from the Welsh Coastal Path so it truly is a walker’s paradise. You can even walk along the beach to New Quay at low tide.
