Private, secluded Studio home that features, kitchen and a full bathroom. Our oasis nestled in the Redwoods, has a separate private Historical Road (old 1 Hwy), that leads down to a creek, trail, and park like setting. Wireless internet, and much more!!!

Ferndale Picturesque Cottage.

Wifi upload and download speeds are excellent. Hiking trails are abundant and nearby. Ferndale is noted for its well-preserved victorian architecture and variety of boutique shops, specialty stores, cafes and restaurants. Nestled within the Jacoby Creek valley, near Humboldt Bay, with easy access to Arcata or Eureka; immersed in leafy surrounds, offering a variety of hiking and walking trails, perfect for nature lovers; this Guest House ensures peace and quiet while being only a very short drive to all amenities. The oversized covered front porch provides a weather protected outside living room area, ideal for gathering with friends and to enjoy the ducks and chickens that amble the expansive country yard.

A NEARBY BRIDGE IS CURRENTLY UNDER REPAIR. After walking down several stone steps, nestled among trees and flowers, you will find a cozy guesthouse filled with a comfortable lounging area, and a quaint bedroom. Then exit to the back deck and spend time sitting by the fish ponds, you can venture onward to explore the Secret Garden where you may spot different butterflies, birds, and even friendly bees. Nestled on a point, with spectacular views of the Eel River Valley ranch lands, redwoods, and majestic mountains. It is located right off highway 101 and just minutes to the Avenue of the Giants for exploring and hiking. Enjoy shopping and dining in the nearby Victorian village of Ferndale. It's the perfect central location for exploring all Humboldt has to offer!

NO FIRES ALLOWED - anyone who breaks this rule will be fined $300.

Muddy Duck Cottage

If you are looking for a farm stay in the redwoods, come stay with us at this studio cottage with a full kitchen, washer dryer, patio, and fire pit. Enjoy the early morning (and sometimes all day) sounds of ducks, geese, turkeys and cattle . Surrounded by acres of Redwood trees, no street lights, and lots of wildlife. Enjoy the stars from the patio in redwood rocking chairs. The cottage has Roku Smart TV, NETFLIX, WIFI & all basic bath & kitchen essentials.
