Located right on Birkie Ridge Trailhead with close access to vast CAMBA trails, this is a nature escape for outdoor enthusiasts who love to bike, ski, hike, and bird watch. Enjoy ski-in ski-out to groomed trails, bike-in bike-out right onto trails, then cozy up by the woodstove or fire-pit at night.

Quiet Lodge on ski and mt. bike trails

Relax and renew at our new quiet 2 bedroom family cabin in the heart of the Northwoods. The Birkie ski trails and CAMBA mountain bike trails await you at the end of the private lane for easy trail access. Additionally, the OO Trailhead and Kortelopet start is approximately 1.5 miles from the cabin. Our cabin sits on 5 acres in a quiet, silent sports neighborhood. We designed our cabin in a modern chalet style so that it gives you the feeling of being outside while staying warm and dry inside.

The Timberjack

Although it's a rustic homage to the lumberjacks and jills of yesteryear, this cabin includes many of the comforts we now enjoy including a queen bed, kitchenette with fridge, hot water, AC/heat, a Keurig coffeemaker, smart TV and charcoal grill. The Timberjack is surrounded by trees right on Lake Hayward and close to downtown Hayward. Launch your canoe just steps from the cabin, walk into town for lunch, or go hiking or skiing on the nearby trails, this cabin is nestled in the ideal location!

A cozy, stylish 4 bed, 1 bath home in downtown Cable with room for the family. Our house is fully stocked with all you need for a comfortable stay. We have a kids' nook with toys and books and all the kid and baby gear. Room for skis & bikes in the basement makes it a great spot for people coming up to take advantage of all the outdoor opportunities Cable has to offer. There is a large deck with furniture in the backyard, a small playground, fire pit and mature apple trees on a 1/2 acre lot.

Lakeside cabin on pristine Diamond Lake in the heart of the Chequamegon National Forest area just outside of Cable, Wisconsin. The Birkebeiner cross country ski trail and scores of other mountain biking, hiking, and snowmobiling trails are close by plus other public recreation opportunities (hunting, snowshoeing, bird watching, etc) abound in the nearby National Forest lands. Several other lakes, including Lake Namekagon and Lake Owen, are nearby for your boating and fishing pleasure.

Enjoy a quiet, relaxing week in the north woods of Hayward, WI! Our 2 bedroom, 2 bath cabin sleeps six comfortably (2 queen beds and a futon). Cabin is two levels and 1500 square ft. The cabin is located on the Namekagon River with direct access to Hayward Lake and the public boat launch just a few hundred feet away. You really get the best of both worlds here as the cabin is tucked away in a private, wooded area but is also walking distance to downtown Hayward and other attractions!!

Find yourself in the heart of Telemark and within walking distance of the Birkie starting line, Mt. Telemark Village and miles of cross country, mountain biking, hiking and snowshoeing trails. Also a short drive to the area lakes. This wonderful and large cabin has 4 bedrooms, each with private bath. The large great room has an imposing stone fireplace, comfy couches and a dining table for 10. The perfect place for families & groups to gather for events or to just be together.

Locally owned and managed. Our cabin is tucked behind pines right on Highway 63 in Cable. Full off street, private parking w/ room for trailers and toys, plus full locked gear room in basement. Easy walking distance to everything in Cable. It can sleep 5-6, but makes a great space for 2-4. 3 mi from the Birkie start, 2.5 mi from the North End Cabin. ATV & Snowmobile right from the driveway. Full furnace for heat and central air conditioning for those hot summer days!

Explore thousands of acres of public forest land and enjoy endless miles of some of the best recreational trails Wisconsin has to offer. Step out of the yurt, located in the middle of Bayfield County Forest land, and right onto CAMBA mountain bike trails and the North End ski trails (which connect to the American Birkebeiner ski trails). This is a rustic, minimally maintained yurt so come prepared to relax, unwind and explore the wonders of the north woods.
